Change of pace

I've decided to give FFXIV a break, because right now there inst any real fun to be had, so I moved my attention to the Dynasty Warriors Open Beta!  I haven't had the chance to actually start yet for it didn't officially opened until 10est last night but here's hoping for today!  The only sad thing though is I cant have Zhu Rong as my general :( I love her so much.

I mean she is the coolest lady ever.  And the fact they kicked her out of Dynasty Warriors 7 makes me sad all day.  Lady in itty bitty clothes and carries a big ass boomerang?!  Hell yeah!

So in sadness I turned to Samurai Warriors and attempted to unlock character campaigns.  And I don't care what you say Ranmaru Mori will always be a lady in my heart <3

Facebook

I know almost everyone has a Facebook but I seriously am getting sick of the advertisements on the sidebar.  Sometimes (very few) there will be ads of things that are actually valid to my life, like artsy stuff or games w.e.  But then there are ads for babies, marriage and now breast implants.

Now I do not want or have any of things.  Nor have I mentioned anything about this on FB.  I even did the option of saying that these ads do not apply to me to get them off the sidebar.  Seriously FB I put all my lifes stuff  on there and you still have no clue what my interests are?  Its on the freaking interests tab.

I know you hear this all the time, but if FB didnt have all my friends on there I would of gave up the habit years ago.

NPC Companion

After a month of playing FFXIV I finally hit level 20 conjurer and started the next part of Gridania's mission.  Once level 20 you receive a path companion which I have no clue what they are used for but let me introduce you to Peanut.

Depending on your choice in companion, they come with different jobs and personalities.  After seeing this Lalafell I had to choose.  He is trying to make a name for himself and is going against his mother's will and becoming an adventurer.  He can be a tad annoying... just look at my Miqo'te's expression...

Despite the many flaws in FFXIV the story is worth my time playing the game.  Whipsmart is finally understanding her part in the world and how to use her abilities to stop the brewing of war. 


I look forward to the adventures Whip and Peanut are going to have.
